«The layout of the apartment was extremely unsuccessful: there is only one window in the living room, and even then in the very corner, overlooking the balcony. At the same time, the customers wanted to get a very bright interior," recalls Maksim Novinkov. "That's why I proposed to them the concept of "white top, colored bottom": everything above the waist, with the exception of the kitchen, is made as white as possible. The color is concentrated at the bottom. Dark details are designed to emphasize the white base.

The clients wanted a "modern classic". But when they began to disassemble it into components, it turned out that they did not like each of them individually. But all together - that's it. Therefore, we began to rethink the details, we tried to interpret each element in our own way.
White walls - with moldings, but with gray, to match the color of the kitchen. The kitchen itself with classic panels, but in a completely untypical shade (then it was admitted at the factory that we were the first to order this model in this version). The floor is herringbone parquet, but in the shade of natural oak, rustic sorting. Instead of heavy chandeliers - large, but transparent lamps of rigid shapes. And exceptionally modern furniture.

For 130 sq. m allocated a common area of the dining room-living room-kitchen, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, study (aka guest bedroom), guest bathroom, utility room.
The master bedroom is very gentle and calm. The son's bedroom (he studies abroad but visits his parents quite often) is more austere: steel-colored soft wall panels and dark curtains. The office is bright, in monochrome colors, with a refreshing carpet on the floor.

I try to follow the news from the world of furniture, lamps, materials and so on. In addition, the factories themselves constantly send updates. So choosing the right items or finishes is not a big deal. This project uses Italian, German and Russian brands.
Deadlines were tight. It took 6 months from the start of work on the project to the delivery of the finished object. Almost from the first meeting, clients treated my work with great confidence. They didn't interfere much, rather, I myself tried to keep them informed of what was happening. Therefore, the work went quite easily and everyone liked the result.»
